Starting to get sick. I was horribly sick with my other three, puking 4+ times a day and now it's picking up with really bad indegestion. What can I do to lessen it?

Well, congrats on the new baby. I've never had it, but took care of a friend who did. Drink ginger ale (not diet) and eat soda crackers. I'd eat a bland diet--I call it white food. Bananas, apple sauce, noodles, chicken noodle soup, dry toast. Stay away from fast food and processed food. Good luck. Ahh, the tip about taking your vitamins later in the day is excellent advice--don't take them on an empty stomach ever.

I had two pregnancies with nausea and vomitting continuously ALL day. Finally my doctor prescribed Zofran. It is a newer antiemetic that was extremely effective for me. If the nausea and vomitting is that bad...talk to your physician about an antiemetic. Better to dicuss this with him/her now so it will not interfere with you caring for your other children. Best wishes...

P.S. as far as the indigestion, I took Rolaid softchews and swear by them!

Talk to your doctor my sister had bad morning sickness and he gave her Zantac and it truly helped her a lot. But dont take it without the docs permission.
