My parents and I always fought, they fought with each other and I've been through hell too. Abused ect... I have left home with just the clothes on my back. I did it for years (I was 16 when I permanently moved). When I became legal age I joined the military, and it was the best thing I have ever done. I haven't been home in 20something years. I am not telling you to run-away. I have no idea how old you are, but as long as you have the will to make it on your own, you can. I worked 2 jobs to support myself. I was free , it was worth it.
No more crying, pain, ect... My parents and I do keep in touch now that I am a lot older, we get along as long as we dont live in the same state. good luck. keep us updated. e-mail me. Kimdmorelli@yahoo.com Good advice from old beatnik

Live in an apartment and get a job. Oh to bring with you. Body cleaning bag: toothpaste, brush, soap etc. Also bring blankets with pillow for bed. Bring food and water. Bring clothing to wear each day. Put them all in suitcases. Good luck.

Take any vital papers you may have... birth certificate, soc sec card, school transcripts. Take anything of real value to you that can not be replaced, like yearbooks, photos, etc. Take any "treasures" you have that you don't want to lose. When I moved out, my parents threw away all my yearbooks, record albums, Boy Scout awards, pictures, EVERYTHING, The albums could be replaced, but not the yearbooks or awards, or pictures.

well, if they beat you constantly, that's something that the cops, government, etc. can help you with, but ya, getting out of there is probably a good idea. first off, you might want to make arrangements before you leave, but just pack some clothes and anything of sentimental value.

I'm sorry, I didn't know you were 18. I'd join the service and make something out of my life (they'll pay for college, etc. - stay safe though and join the Navy!)

bring everything that will fit into boxes and suitcases ur bringing
and if you have bruises find or call child abuse services show them and they'll put you in a home with nice parents unlike the
abusive ones you live with now.
and ur dad will never be aloud to touch you again if u pull a restaining order against him and ur mother.
and he goes to jail if he goes against the restraining order
