Do you believe in the Christian ideas?

do you believe and respect these idea's? if not, why dont you believe them, have you had a bad life?

I've actually had a very good life.
I believe in some ideals which have been called "Christian". I don't kill, I don't steal, I try to be honest, I respect and am kind to others.
The problem is that I don't see too many Christians following these ideals.The Christians who do follow these ideals are wonderful people, but they're rare. Generally I see many people who display Christian bumper stickers, clothing, ect., but they do not act in a Christian manner. They are rude, inconsiderate, and very judgemental.

My friend, you might want to be more specific with your questions in the future.
As many have stated, there are thousands of beliefs and systems of belief within the realm of Christian thought. Many of which are contradictory. Therefore one cannot answer yes or no to this question.
However, as far myself I would have to say for the most part I do not believe in Christian "ideas", though I imagine that there are a great many I do indeed agree with, simply not most of them. This I imagine is most likely true with even the most devout Christian however, since as I said there are many systems that contradict one another.
I am wiccan, and have had a very good life. Though it is my belief that we all have our own struggles to face.

Do I believe in the ideas? Yeah, I believe and respect 'em. They're very practical. The New Testament declared the Old Testament's regulations to be obsolete, so I'm cool with it as the Bible has been written. Can't ask for a better ancient text! But still, I want to learn an ancient language in order to get close as possible to the truest words, and therefore ideals.

I believe in the wisdom of Christs teachings, and I do my best to follow them, but not all Christian Ideas are a good thing in my view.

I believe the bible was written be man, edited and censored by man and is no way the Word Of God.

I believe in God but not a christian God that is flawed and violent. I believe in a pure, perfect, peaceful God.

I believe Jesus was a wise man who is often misquoted and was totally misunderstood but I don't believe that his is God incarnate nor the son of God.

I believe in separation of Church and State, freedom of and FROM religion, of keeping faith private and out of schools, of churches paying taxes.

I believe in the Big Bang and Evolution, abortion rights, gay rights and civil rights.

I am proud to say I am not a christian, Jew, Muslim etc..but I believe in God.

I believe that a person's sexuality is the way they are born. It is NOT a choice.

I believe that there are many roads to God. IF there was only one way it would NOT be Christianity. Christianity has too much hate, bigotry, and judgment to be really about a loving God.

YES, I have had a VERY bad life...
and alot of bad things have happened to me....I am not real sure what "Ideas" you are talking about...but I do Not make fun of anyones beliefs or Religions...as I expect everyone else to do the same for me...
