Yes to all.

I have been on here a little over two months.

I found this "Yahoo Answers" by accident on April 25. I was wondering about a snake I found in my front yard and found this place. I was curious and found this section later, the next day or two.

The snake in the yard was sent by God. Without it I would have never been searching for answers for it. It is amazing how things work out like they do.

God had called me years ago to witness to people about the Lord. Which I love to do. I am at home often I spend much spare time on Yahoo Answers religion and spirituality. Before this kind of technology we never could have thought about doing this.

We can reach more people in one day on here, than if we spent all week trying to witness to people in town, out on the street. Which those people need to be witnessed to also.

I find it very amazing that we can share with people all around the world. This is one thing that has really touched me, people who I could never have before been able to help with the word of the Lord I now can help. I have received e-mails from people all around the world thanking me for what I have said. (Which is not me but the Lord Jesus who speaks through me.)

I do take these "REAL" questions very seriously. Sometimes I don't answer them for 30minutes-1 hour to a day or two. Sometime some questions take much prayer and a lot of thought and study in the Word of God before answering.

When I first began on this site I answered as many questions as I could. I am a little more picky now. I search for those and pray to be lead to those who are needing something that God has given me.

Of all the sections on Yahoo Answeres this is the most important. We are dealing with the souls of men and women. People we may never see on this earth. But I do hope to see them in heaven.

Yes I have just recently got on this and tried to bring God into every answer that I have given so far. I want to help people out and I want to witness to them because Jesus is Great and I know will help these people. I am young, younger than probably most of you but I am God's child and through God all things are possible. In fact I had a friend that at first did not like going to church and I talked to him and now he looks forward to going. Thank you God. I will do what it takes to help people and it's good to know that I have you guys to help. If there's anything you want me to do go to my profile and e-mail me.
God is the same yesterday, today, and will be FOREVER.
God Bless You.

Even if you are not missionary you can lead others to Christ.
Just tell them about Jesus...

Just like Andrew he lead his own brother. (John 1:40-43).

John 1:40-42- "40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone."

When Peter preached, Acts 2:41 (3000 souls saved).

Acts 2:41 "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."

Andrew never started a church. He never wrote a Book of the Bible. He never preached a great sermon. He never held a great revival. He never performed a miracle. He never did anything big that we read of in the Scripture. But every time you see Andrew he's bringing someone to Jesus.

Isn't that the real purpose we're here? Judging from how much MY kids love their computers and spend time on them, I think the internet may soon become, if it isn't already, one of the main ways, together with satellite TV and radio, of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Yahoo! is a ministry, whether or not the management of Yahoo! realizes that or not.
When I sit down to answer questions on Yahoo! I have six versions of the Bible on my computer loaded thru e-sword.net; several concordances; a couple of Bible dictionaries; books by Hank Hanegraaff and James MacArthur; and I can awe myself thinking about all the knowledge on tap at the touch of my fingers. None of my reference material is secret; I hope all of you have it also.
Yet none of that does any good if I get sarcastic or mean in my answers, if I DON'T PRAY about my answers, if I don't answer GENTLY and with RESPECT, no matter how stupid, ignorant, or mean the question is. I try to turn the subject to eternity and one's salvation. The one eternal question that all must eventually face is What will you do with Jesus Christ?
This is the question of the ages, and if we as Christians do not genuinely seek to help others find the answer to that question, then we're wasting our time; and not being good stewards of the knowledge in our hearts and the information available at our fingertips.
The answer to all of your questions posted above is a resounding YES.
May God Bless all who read this and thanks for asking

I already do this. Not long after I became a Christian I felt a compelling need to pray for a woman I knew nothing about, I was just given a name in my head.
I ignored it for a while, but her name was before me all the time, and I couldn't think of much else.
So I started to pray for her (I still do), just holding her up to God, and asking Him to look on her with His love and compassion, wherever she was with her life.
A couple of years later my daughter introduced me to this woman at my grandsons sports day, and later confided in me, that this woman had been a heavy user of drugs and alchohol, had BIG problems in many areas.
Then she said, its so amazing, J....... .isn't like that any more, she has got her act together, has joined the kids sports club, she's drinking orange juice when we get together for heavens sake, won't even have a beer! I don't know what happened to her!!! she's so determined though, to get her life back on track.

I do though, God happened to her. I don't know whether she is a Christian or anything, but now I know how important it is to pray for someone when you are given an overwhelming desire to do so.
For anyone who is skeptic, its not going to HURT, even if you don't believe it will help.....
As for being a missionary, I think we all are, when we show our love for Jesus in the way we live our lives.....
I teach preppie kids about Jesus love for them that is my missionary work....

I hoped that was what a bunch of us were doing. But to answer your question, yes, I would be willing to do that. I think this is a great opportunity for people that are really seeking truth to find it here on this yahoo question and answer site. I know there is a lot of weird stuff on here too but if people are truly seeking, God knows that and can help them using this avenue. (I like your question)

God says his word does not return void it will do where ever he sends it. It is not what we do ..it is what he does. Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him as righteousness. He knew what God said and even though it took years he stuck with it. We often want to strike out on your own looking for work to do for God. God gives us his spirit to guide us and direct us to say and not to say. We have a given desire by the spirit to pray and do things thought it's instruction and direction. It is not what we do or did for God it is what he did for us. It is not what you say it is often how one acts or should I say lives the life. It is not by accident Yahoo R/S came to pass...nor is it by accident we came to correspond. God's spirit works and moves in every direction even if man does not open his mouth the presence of the Lord is here. We have different attributes and behaviors. God uses it all for his purpose. We agree to disagree. We learn to love that is what it is all about to love though man's adversity. He works on our character...and changes and challenges our decisions. When one surprises us and says what is your stand on the word of God ? You say I never told that one I was a Christian. It is not where or what but how you live. Some of us can get arrogant but God knows us. He works that behavior into something wonderful that is a sign of boldness. We do not have to ask God to direct us to others or lead us to do... It is the love that he gives and the love we give that causes us to do good where ever we go. If we are rejected it is not a offense to us it is a rejection of God....if they loved God they would love you.

I personally think it just happens. God leads you to them without reasoning. Not saying that you don't need to pray. Prayer is the most powerful weapon their is of course. Our way of communicating with God, but what I mean is that I think when God is ready He just leads us to that right person who needs a special touch.
