Many professed "christians" aren't even nice for one hour a week, looks like you gave some the benefit of the doubt.
The problem seems to be a "sterotype", while it is true what you imply about many, if not most, it definately is not the case with all.
The end of the paragraph below may leave even a better question for all of mankind to think upon:
"And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?"

I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience with a christian. We are not all like that. Most of us that really serve Jesus want to be loving and kind every day. Maybe this person is just having a bad day. Maybe you are using this person as an excuse so you do not have to make a decision to serve Jesus. He is calling you all the time you know, and won't let up until your last breath. That is because He loves you so much and has a great plan for your life. You should try Him, you will never regret it.

Not just Christians, let's not start a hateful religious discussion.
But I somewhat agree. Some of my friends are Christians, and they act like the worst people on Earth sometimes, being stereotypic, racist, gossiping and acting so shallow. When they go to church, they turn into angels.

This is a good question. Unfortunately most professed Christians fail to realize that there is a commitment. When one is saved--it is a covenant made with Christ. Alot of Christians fail to understand that in being saved that you have made a covenant.

I try not to be a "Sunday" Christian, but live it all week. Yes, I do get in the flesh sometimes, but I try not to. We will win more to Christ by living it.

I am nice all week. I do my best to respect others and to accept them as they are. I don't try to change anyone.
Everyone has a right to his/her belief system, and no one ought try to change anyone.
How do you believe in acting towards others?
What's your philosophy about being nice and accepting those whose beliefs differ from yours?
