just curious about statistics on open marriages and open relationship where all involved know ,i dont mean one spouse/lover cheating on the other ....

I think its sad, and pretty unloving. It describes a lust of the flesh , above love and commitment. To each his own, but I can tell you that an open marriage will only work if two agree on it. Some relationships have money as the center, some status, some sex..
I prefer honesty, and love myself.

yeah I think there are more fantasies about "open marriages" then there actualy are. More often than not someone is going to get jealous of the others partners or someone is going to develope feelings for someone else. It would be the perfect relationship, but I know I couldnt do it.
