purchasing a car in WA from private seller?

Lets say i purchase a car in WA from a private seller for 10k, once that is done, what other aspects must i take care of paying for such as tax and title - and how much will they cost?

You'll have to pay a use (sales) tax on the "fair market value" of the car, which will be your local sales tax rate (so, 8.9% if you're in Seattle and most suburbs), plus 0.3% motor vehicles tax. There might be a small fee for transferring the title, not sure, but it's the sales tax that will cost you the most.
