im told that you either have dependants or you do not. But if that is wrong, 2 dependants and he has been an e4 since march.

he is prior service marine for over 8 years.

2062.80 base pay.

housing allowance based on location.

279.88 Food allowance.

This is all considering he lives off post with family at his location.

You would already know that answer, because at enlisting you can only have two children and a spouse. They do not allow more than one spouse, so that would mean ether three children and a spouse, or our children. You would not qualify. If you are moving up in rank, then they only count the first dependent. If you were to live on base, they would give you a bigger house.

Have to know how many dependents you have, and how much time you have in grade as an E-4.

You can have all the dependents you want at no extra charge. you will get housing and cost of living though. military.com has the pay charts.

depends.. on how long he has been in altogether,and where he is stationed, as BAH is based on duty station location.
