I'm working that kind of environment right now. The best thing is to try to do everything to the best of your ability and to do it correctly. Most bosses will bark orders with out any manners, for some odd reason. You just have to follow them and don't get your feather's ruffled by an order. I know some tasks at work can be extensive and boring but just suck it up. Also many jobs will require working overtime especially in the resturant bussiness. If you have a problem with the hours just talk to your boss. My boss does the EXACT same things as your boss and the best thing to do is just try to work with it. If things are getting really really bad then quit. Good Luck and hope this helps

Don't quit until you have another job. I quit my job and knew I was a good worker and wouldn't have a problem finding another job, but I quit before I found another job. I got one a week later but in the between time I kept myself up at night worrying. When you have bills to pay, you automatically worry. So, do yourself a favour and find something else quickly and then you can tell your boss, sorry but you've had enough.

Call several temp agencies and they will line you up with some work within weeks. Get out of there as soon as you can. This job is not good for your self esteem and if you don't quit, she'll only end up firing you for something stupid anyway. It's one thing to suck it up and go above and beyond for your job...it's another to be a wimp and allow your boss to lie on you. This is a bad sign. Get out ASAP -she probably will not even pay you anyway.

Never leave a job with another job. Just start applying for other jobs and when you get one, you can walk in tell your boss to kiss your soft bottom with no regrets.

If that is the case, just finish out the 2nd week and tell her you are quitting. Do Not use this place for a reference, you will not get a favorable response from them.

I would wait until you get another job so you wouldn't be unemployed.
