Maybe you're brushing too hard and it's toothbrush abrasion... If you can't wait until Aug 6th for your appointment, see if they can see you sooner.
Otherwise, brush gently with a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Crest makes one that doesn't taste too bad...rinsing with warm salt water can't hurt, either.
Good Luck!

There is a simple, cheap solution to various painful mouth problems. Use this while you wait to get X rays and be examined by your Dentist.
Forty years ago my roommate and I stood our toothbrushes in the same
Glass. I got a sore throat and at the Dentist I learned that I had Strep. So we both
got the Strep.
He prescribed using HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. It is very inexpensive.
Your drug store has it on the bottom shelf next to alcohol, usually. It is about
$1.00 a quart.
I brush with it most mornings, so it will get under the edge of your gums to
Heal right down to the roots, but, swish and mouthwash with it daily. Several times if you have a specific problem that you are trying to heal.
I was born into a family with only fair teeth, but with the use of HRODROGEN
PEROXIDE for 40 years, I have very healthy gums. It bubbles infection up and out of the tissue. It heals your gums after flossing if they are tender and does a great job on canker sores or fever blisters. The stuff works great.
It is recommended at a mouthwash on the bottle, my Doctors use it in their offices, so I KNOW IT IS SAFE. Many people think it is not safe in your mouth, but they are just plain wrong. Don’t swallow, as it tastes weird.
I certainly hope this will help you with your problem in a simple, inexpensive way. Doctors are a real necessity, but there are actually many simple solutions that do not require going to the Doctor.
I do not think you would feel pain in th front teeth from the wisdom teeth, that would effect the molars.
Good Luck.

I also had all my wisdom teeth pulled out. Believe it or not...they don't make you smarter! The wisdom teeth were crowding your mouth because most people don't have enough room in their mouth for them. I know it is painful, but hang in there. It will get better. When the wisdom teeth are extracted, you may have what is called referred pain in other teeth not associated with wisdom teeth. It is not uncommon. Also when teeth are pulled, the other teeth start to drift especially after time to fill up the gaps from the overcrowding. It is too soon to predict much more. It takes time to heal. Try not to push on your teeth at this time. You are not healed yet and may only cause more pain by touching them. Your gums are probably very tender right now. If it is too bad and any infection present, contact your dentist.

This is a really odd place for cavities, so i wouldnt worry too much. You might just have sensitive teeth. However, have u been doing anything to break down the enamal on the front of ur teeth such as excessive tooth whitening or lots of hard candy. It may not be cavities, but u may be putting stress on the nerves in ur teeth. think about it this way: Its not a big deal, its common, its probably not a cavity. Just dont think about it until ur appointment on the 6th and try not to bite into anything especially hot or cold as that will hurt!

It could be that you need a root canal (infection in the nerve of a lower anterior tooth), have a periodontal (gum) problem, have food impacted between the teeth--it could be any number of things.
Call you dentist tomorrow and tell them you are having pain and would like to be seen on an emergency basis. If they say no--go to another dentist.

You could have an extra tooth growing in. Happened to my brother.
It could be a cavity/DK.
Other teeth are trying to push your front teeth to make room for those other teeth.
Hope that helps.

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.
Check out this site: http://www.naturalwhiteteeth.net - It's about how you can whiten your teeth 100% naturally. Same results but 100% safe and 1000 times cheaper.
