I have a gazelle but no motivation, or anyone else to do it with me.

If you want to lose weight you need to eat foods that burn fat.
Since you cant go to the gym you should do some bodyweight exercises.

It helps to have a support group for this. I'd suggest Overeaters Anonymous or weight watchers in your area. Also try Meetup.com to see if you can find a group of folks in your area to support each other with this. Losing weight is not easy. It involves changing your lifestyle a bit. Do more of the things that contribute to your good health and less of the things that contribute to your poor health. Often, people eat a lot of junk because of stress over their lives. So I suggest finding someone to talk with (therapist or counselor) about your life. Some folks use eating as a coping skill do deal with their stress instead of really facing the issues in their lives. I can relate to this because I still do this sometimes too.
You don't need fancy equipment to lose weight. Walking is a great way to lose weight. Are you walking at all now? If not, then start off easy with going once around the block everyday until you feel ready to increase the distance. Ask someone to walk with you or take along some music. Pushups are a nice way to get your upper body stronger and maybe some light dumbbells for some bicep curls.
The foods that put the weight on the fastest usually have a high glycemic index number; (white rice, bread, white potatoes,candy, cookies, desserts,etc.) Check out the glycemic index and what foods should be decreased or eliminated. Sugar Busters is a good book to check out.
Try to love yourself as you go through this process.
It's possible that being overweight has served you in some way to avoid certain things. Some women who have been molested gain a lot of weight because it makes them less attractive to men. If you are attractive and healthy, people will want to be around you and for some people all that attention can be scary. People will ask you to do stuff with them and if you don't have good boundaries or negotiating skills, it can cause stress to you.

if you really want to lose weight, you'll use the gazelle while you watch tv. I don't go to a gym and have lost lots of weight. eat well balanced meals with proper portions, drink lots of water, and exercise at least 30 minutes every day. promise yourself something nice (new outfit? movie? whatever you want) if you lose, say, 10 pounds. people who exercise first thing are more likely to exercise. if you wait til later, you probably won't do it.

I have the same problem as you, just do something simple. When wathcing tv do some crunches/situps.When go to get the mail run or sometihng. Then eventually just start wlaking around where you live. You will see a big difference.

my dad lost 90 pounds. you can only loose weight if you really want to. you want to loose fat right? dont go on the atkins diet or south beach diet or any of this fancy stuff. just dont eat fat. exercise on your gazelle, eat right. eat fruits and vegtables and a little bit of meat for protien. try to create recipies and new stuff to where your not on a diet, your just trying new things. you can loose wait only if you want to. make it fun!

Kick on some rock and roll or whatever good foot stompin' scream and dance music you have. Close the curtains and go crazy. Dance, jump, stomp, run it place, do jumping jacks, have fun. 10 to 20 minutes worth each day would work wonders. Good luck!
