A lady I hardly knew was at my dad's funeral.
While I was eating she came up to me didn't even say "sorry or anything." She continued on and on at least an hour about her problems and life in general. I was already depressed about my dad and other things. Then a year later after my dad's death she starts following me at my church, and then the store I go to grocery store shopping at and the same laundromat too, and asking me strange questions, about me and my family! She was stalking me, because she lives 20 minutes away and there are plenty of stores and 2 churches where she lives.
Is she crazy or what, and what do you make of this?
She also asked me how much $$ did we get from my Dad, and does my family have to work or anything.........

Reason I ask this under mental health, was she normal asking these questions and pushing boundaries. Never encountered someone like this.

maybe she was close to your dad and seeing you makes her feel better, or maybe she is lonely and felt like you was the kind of person that would listen to her and understand. maybe she has some mental health problems going on that really need to be dealt with. please don't use the word crazy as its not a very nice one to hear for people that do have mental health problems. Try and be nice and just ask how come she comes to these places but in a very laid back as if just talking in general about it. Have you talked to your mum about it maybe she knows more about this lady and can help get things sorted out. good luck take care

No this is not "normal". Don't answer her questions and tell her sternly to leave you alone and not to bother you any longer or you will report her to the authorities.
Who in your family knows her, why was she in your house during/after the funeral? Was she invited or did she see the death notice in the paper?
This isn't someone you need to be "nice" to, you never let someone step on and run over those boundries because that is a clear indication that something is very wrong.
BTW, I am sorry about your dad.

You definately do NOT have to answer those questions. Either ignore her or tell her None of your business. It is rather odd of her asking those questions.
I am sorry to hear about your day though. It's got to be tough then on top of it dealing with some crazy lady.
Good luck!

That is very weird. What kind of connection did she have with your Dad? But even if they were close, her asking you about money was inappropriate. I would try not to engage her if I were you, and if she is scaring you and getting more stalker-like (as opposed to just annoying you) then you might want to get a restraining order.

you have a sincere concern. i would look her name up any way i could .have it cross checked .she may just be a kook .
but she seems to have an agenda. talk to a police detective or request to be contacted by one regarding her.at the end of his/her investigation you can have a restraining order made so you can have peace.

There are many busy bodies around...that push themselves on you...she is probably just lonely, but dont give her any information..she isn't your friend, just a trouble maker I feel..you can be nice, but just don't get close to her...keep your distance

i would definately start writing down these occurences for future use -- I would talk to her about it & tell her you have documentation of the stalking & you will use the information to expell her from your life

I think she is out of bounds. Simply tell her your family information is PRIVATE. Keep a list of all her contacts- tell her to stay away if it amkes you uncomfortable.

I like funerals a lot, and I'm a woman. I really like funerals.
She probably has a crush on you and didn't know what to say.
