and other will ASK...AFTER 5 YEARS wouldn't you just stop making them relive it????....i know I would...I would not ever BRING IT UP UNLESS..they brought it up...but would not ask anything PERSONAL ABOUT IT...How about you???...

This is sadly, how some people cope with loss...just get up and leave the room when they get started..as you have the right to mourn the way you want to also...I know how you feel, but sometimes, it's best not to say anything, and let them know you don't approve, by leaving, if you can.

Well, I usually don't bring up other people's personal stuff unless they bring it up. I may be funny that way. Some people would like to be with people they feel safe with, but then it could be a habit of my profession.

The grief process is endless. Loss doesn't fit nicely into a box. Closure is such an oxymoron.

I agree with you asker.
If they want to vent and they mention it then in my opinion it would be okay.
I think anything other than that would just be prying and rude.
