Who knows.
But just think existing in the afterlife forever without a purpose would be really boring wouldn't it.
Some form of work will probably exist but you'll be able to choose exactly what you want to do and that will make all the difference won't it.

Only if that's what you want to do. I'd like to think you'd be able to do anything you wanted to in the afterlife - no rules, no pressures, no expectations - sounds great.

Good grief!
I can't believe that there are actually people about who still believe in this primitive, bronze-age religious mumbo-jumbo!

I hate to break the news to you! There is no afterlife....no heaven...no hell.... no 27 virgins....no nada....you will lie in the ground (If your not going to be cremated) and rot like the rest of us!

you are well advised to quit work right here and now, you never know what is coming up next - a rude awakening?

I believe we will have tasks to do. There will be the 1000 year reign with Jesus on earth, so there will be things to do.

No because you will be dead. I don't know if you have ever seen someone after they died, but one thing they aren't about to do is get up and do a day's work.
