This is an easy question. It's better to know that God exist and love God because then you have to deal with striving to LOVE people and this is what makes the world a better place.

Knowledge is one thing, but believing - having faith - that God exists will bring you to a better understanding of Him. God bless:)

Hmm. Some preconceived notions there? Specifically that a god is a good god? Wishful thinking?
Might be better to believe in something warm and cuddly, than to know about something as nasty as a first testament god.
Simplest thing is just to realise that there isn't one.

"Belief"implies an element of doubt; knowledge is unshakable. And yes, it IS possible to "know" that God exists; The person who was later known to the world as "Swami Vivekananda" asked "Have you seen God?" of many learned pundits and Brahmins in India; none were able to answer in the affirmative except a priest of the Dakshineswar Kali temple, named Gadadhar Chatturji, later known to the world as the great avatar Ramakrishna Paramahansa.When I learned of this person, I too followed his recommendations, and I, too, was able to KNOW, rather than merely believe, that God exists.

To know would mean we have proof, so that fact that there are so many beautiful people out there is proof enough for me. I believe in Him, He doesn't always have to be in my face for me to know He's around and just because things don't go the way we like all the time, it doesn't mean He doesn't exist or that He has forsaken us.
It's a free world (so they say) Believe what you like.

For my self I know and believe both, and he has given me a wonderful life so far and I am geting on now so I will always stick with God. May God Bless.

Nobody knows God exists, because if he does he's hiding. Believers do not have knowledge of his existence, hence the use of the word 'faith' (belief without proof).

you have to know that god exist. ask yourself a few questions. real questions like how do you keep living, how do yu wake up or go to sleep,how do you know in your gut feeling about something, how do you heal, things you see ,people you see and know, nature,the world, sun,etc. sure you know that god exist just look around you and you will see!

You can believe god exists, but you cannot know god exists because you cannot provide any physical evidence of god.
I don't believe in the existence of god, personally.
