I have been looking but I can't find what kind of bird it is can you help me?

Its a Titmouse. There are several possibilities. If you are in the west its either an Oak or Juniper Titmouse. They used to be considered the same species, Plain Titmouse, but were separated several years ago. If you are in the East it could be a juvenile Tufted Titmouse. Normally they would have more going on in the crest, but a juvenile can look very plain. If you are in South Texas it could be a juvenile Black-crested Titmouse.

I think its most likely either a Juniper or Oak. Oak is round in California up into southern Oregon. Juniper is found in parts of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and a tiny bit of California.
