Well, I can see some parallels. But the "clean slate" concept of bankruptcy is an illusion, you know. You may be forgiven your debts, but you have lousy credit. Same may be true for being "born again," a concept I understand only remotely.
Personally, I believe in reincarnation. I believe I have been born again and again and again, and I'll keep doing it until I get it right!

With bankruptcy does a banker grant you a freepass..do you have any peace while going through bankruptcy..are you forgiven for your dept (no because you cannot buy anything on credit for seven or more years)..Are you happy being in dept..do the bankers approach you with gentleness, kindness and Love and concern for your welfare..
Whereas being born again..you receive a brand new bankroll..Freedom, Peace, Forgiveness, Joy, Gentleness, Kindness, Love and a humble heart..
Jesus approaches us with Love and Forgiveness..We do not have to worry about any past dept (past sins) It is "Free of Charge" for they are bought and paid in "Full" by our Loving Savior.. :)

No. Once you are a child of God, you have His resources. That doesn't mean that you are suddenly rich here on earth, but you are spiritually rich. Plus He will bless you here on earth if you do as He directs in His Bible.
