Try putting the boxes in separate areas of the house. Be sure they are not next to washer or dryer or anything noisy. The area the boxes are in should be light, clean and pleasant.
Use clumping (it's soft!), non-scented litter and scoop at least once a day. Wash the boxes weekly with a mild soap and warm water (no harsh chemicals) and put in clean litter.
The boxes should be about 1 1/2 the length of your cat so there is plenty of manuver room. Also, the boxes should be replaced about once a year as the plastic does collect odors and can put the cat off.
Sometimes cats won't poop in their box because the box is too small and that's especially noticeable with covered boxes.
Food and water should not be near the litter box. Dogs and children should not be allowed to startle the cat while in the box.
If you have not had a fecal done with your vet, you should do so. If nothing found there, discuss with the vet whether he/she feels a urinalysis should be done.

Next time she poops put on a glove and put he poop in the othe litter box just keep doing this she'll fiquire out this is where she should poop. I first thought she wasn't pooping at all that happened to my son an I told him to wrap a hot water bottle in a towel and get him to lay on it it did work he was bunged up and it relaxed him enough to poop. Also I only use clumping litter it smells an cleans better than non clumping and don't buy any wth perfume or deoderizers in it Good luck

Cats will do this sometimes if they associate the litter box with pain. Has she been constipated or having diarrhea lately? You might want a vet to check.

Is she declawed? Declawed cats most often has litterbox disorders. Get a better field, and a spare. Rule of thumb for litterboxes is a million for each cat plus a million. So for a million cat you wish to have two packing containers. You might additionally try specific muddle types. Put one other style of muddle in each and every field and he or she which she prefers. In my opinion i use feline Pine within the litterboxes right here. You could additionally try an empty muddle field. I took in a declawed rescue who might now not use the field if there used to be muddle in it. As quickly as you might have looked at the ones issues, and possible medical matters the following might be behavioral, in which case there are precise medicines that may aid.

Try the scoopable litter that is very fine, like sand. I use "Cats Pride Scoopable" and now my goes in it. My cat didn' like the litter that was like pebbles. I guess she didn't like the feel of it under her paws. I've also used the "Walmart" scoopable when I couldn't find the "Cats Pride". I hope this solves your cats problem.

you know what, immediately take your cat to the vet. He might have an urinate infection. I forgot what my cat had but it was too late so we had to put him to sleep but if your not late he will survive. good luck.
