Doesn't it all seem pointless? It doesn't seem to matter whether you succeed or fail, the end result is the same.

In a certain view, yes.
In some races, death is the ultimate way to slow a fierce aggressive nature.
In to days environment in the United States of America, death can be the result of our stressful lives as we meet the "American Dream". Everything isn't apple pie.
There are a lot of techniques out there, and have been advocated for years. Yoga, meditation, health diet, moderate weight, etc.
Also, many Americans are heavily into debt for housing alone, and this can increase stress so much, they prefer homelessness or a slow expensive death.
Maybe if we slow down the housing market, and rationalize a more realistic approach to this, we can have less homeless, and less stress=related deaths.
Ultimately, death is the outcome. Some pass peacefully. Some pass with a huge insurance payoff for their families.
It isn't pointless, there are educated paths to follow.

It's not pointless Z.

I don't think anyone completely fails...even if all they managed was to make it to the end of their life naturally they have experienced success.

And if a person succeeds, they have enjoyed a part of life that is special at the time. Making the most of every moment is what makes life matter.

Death is definately the next level.
No matter how good or how poor your life that you left,
you have, in some way, touched and changed other people's lives.

Make a point that when you go to the next level, you have changed someone's life for the better.

It can be as simple as a smile to someone who looks down and depressed. It can be a small gesture of help for an elderly neighbor.

A life is never wasted. Death is the great beginning of the next phase.

For those of us left behind, remember your family/friend and the good things about them. This helps their soul go toward the light and on to the next lesson the soul has to learn. :)

Nothing is ever pointless. Nothing.

Birth is a sign of grow and go get'em

Illness is a sign of slow down

Death is a sign to stop
