my dog freaks out during fireworks and I'm looking for a home remedy.

It's best to just let them tough it out and learn how to cope.
What happens when you aren't home? Most dogs don't like fireworks.

There are herbal and homeopathic remedies that are very safe. Many are sold at health food stores. Also, some antihistamines have calming effects, but ask your vet first before using them.

Pet stores sell doggie calm pills, they are all natural and won't hurt the dog. Make sure to follow dosage instructions.

not unless your vet gives you one, dont mess with anything that you can give your dog to calm him down. Keep him in a dark room that is quieter thats all you can do. don't ever medicate your dog yourself with home remedies they can die from it
