I like tribal patterns along the hip bones leading down.... Or chinese symbols- hot, and encourages reading skills!

Definitely! I have a heart tattoo on my hip bone, and my boyfriend loves it. When you get tattoos in the pelvic area, it shows you are confident with your body, and it also shows your sexual side.
A lot of things would be good to get. Stars are good, as someone suggested. It should be on the smaller side. Get whatever you feel like getting.

As a woman with one, I would say "oh yeah, they're hot!" A good one to get would be something that means something to you, or to you and your partner. As the area is a small one, I am sure your tattooist would tell you to choose something which is not very intricate. A complicated tat which might look great sprawlled over your back can not be done in that area. A simple design like a star, or a heart, or a moon would be great! Good luck!

Try to think of something original....wouldn't you love going swimming and there are 8 girls there with stars in the same place as yours?
.........and if your artist is any good, it
is possible for him/her to put small detail in a small........and it will last.
How 'bout a turtle, frog, a cartoon
character, a lady bug or 2.............I know you can come up with something.

My friend actually has a four leaf clover (she's irish) on her right pelvice bone. It's pretty hot. anything in that area would look cool.

They can be if they are the right design and in just the right spot.
As with all tattoos, pick something symbolic to you, it doesn't have to be something that already exists, it could be totally original.

be careful in this area if you ever plan to have children. Stretch marks can ruin a tattoo big time.

yes definitely, i was with a woman one time that was shaved and had EAT HERE with an arrow pointing down, like i needed instructions.
