My ex of 3 months broke up with me a month ago. Well we work together (diff dpts) and other than a hello I ignore him. Well a couple weeks ago he calls me, I miss the call, call back no answer or call back. I never mentioned it to him. Also I notice he stares at me and when I am having a conversation with someone else he is often near and seems to be listening in. He has also gone out of his way to interupt me while talking to someone to talk to that person. Honestly I find itv very immature and why is he doing this?

If he doesn't want you, he still doesn't want anyone else to have you. The next time he interrupts, kindly mention that you and the third party were talking, and if he (the ex) would like to speak with you, he can approach you later, when you are not otherwise engaged. He'll probably get the hint and leave you alone.

Office romances almost never work out. Yes he is being immature. What to do? Less of leaving your job I have no idea. Thats one reason I feel that office romances are never a good idea. Simply because once breakup begins is when your problems begin. Good luck. Maybe have a talk with him and ask him whats going on. If he broke up with you, then he should simply leave you alone. Seeing each other every day on the job is going to be difficult for both of you.

HE WANTS CONTROL!
He is trying to get a reaction out of you. Positive or negative. He feels better about himself and his dumb decision to dump you by taking the focus off himself and trying to get a rise out of you. Avoid the idiot, and maybe you might consider changing departments to one further away from his; or flat out going to the company head.
