Flintstones are the ultimate proof

2007-07-04 09:22:34 · answer #1 · answered by 8theist 6 · 3 1

It isn't a matter of what anyone "thinks". The plain FACT of the matter is that dinosaurs were extinct MILLIONS of years before human beings appeared on earth. Anyone so hellbent on clinging to Flintstone fantasies should turn to the Bible, where we are told that the TRUTH will set us free. Why then are some fundamentalist Christians so desperate to avoid the truth? Apparently because they are not very confident that their religious beliefs are true, and don't want to be placed in a position of having to admit the inaccuracy of their biblical interpretations. So the safest recourse is simply to avoid objective reality and live in a fantasy world.

Well, all of the scientific evidence cleary shows that dinosaurs and humans lived at different times. The evidence is from carbon dating, geological data, fossil layers, etc. It all seems fairly obvoius unless you just visited a museum that recently opened. Of course, the evidence is still fairly clear even then as fundamental theology and science don't seem to like to play together.

Great song, by the way. That guy had a great voice, whatever happened to him? (Videos aren't in the bible either.)

By the way, dinosaurs did not exist as they are never mentioned in the bible. Niether do cars, micro waves, planes, rockets, guns, submarines, microscopes, telescopes, atomic energy and atomic bombs or the United States as none of them are mentioned in the bible. If they do exist, they must all be a trick of the devil Satan! Come to think of it, neither you nor I are mentioned in the bible either...oops!

May it all be well with you.

Nope, dinosaurs did not coexist with humans. Humans showed up in the evolutionary cycle much later.
