Did you perform any test to see if your god was the right one before deciding it was, or were you raised a Christian? My bet is you never investigated a single other religion before deciding that your God was the right God and that Jesus is God in the flesh. How many tests did you do on Hinduism before convincing yourself that it's not true? Islam? How about the Native American religions? Zeus?
And yes, I tested. I was raised a Christian. I was a devout Christian for years. And asking an atheist about reading the Bible isn't a good idea. First, most atheists have read the Bible. And they've read the ENTIRE Bible, cover to cover, unlike most Christians. Second, the Bible is one of the top reasons that most atheists decided that atheism was the logical choice.

I was a devout and faithful Christian for over two decades... nothing I experienced was remotely proof for God's existence
Have you ever meditated? It makes you feel better, and more peaceful... maybe you should be a Buddhist since thats what you're into.

The problem is, "perception" is nothing more than emotion in this case. There is nothing measurable and external causing this "perception". And we've all seen cases where emotion did not reflect reality. There are a lot of jealous boyfriends out there. Do their girlfriends all cheat?

They've limited their world view too much. None of what you said will make any sense to them.
