Sounds to me like he is just more comfortable to "play" with you than with your husband. If your husband disciplines your cat more than you, this would explain it. It may be the "Alpha Male" situation.

I actually have a one twelve months previous male cat that does that too!! He may well be very candy, yet now and returned, he purely jumps onto somebody's leg and bites them. i think of its everyday, cats, somewhat youthful ones can get enormously excited and lively. If he bites plenty, then he could have made a habit of it before. My cat usually bites much less if I play with him plenty.

Well my cat is fixed and declawed and he's 3 yrs old and he bites only if you make him mad. But when he bites you try to calm him down and make him go to sleep maybe he'll like you more! Maybe you did something that made him mad. Cats DO hold a grudge! So try to make friemds with him. Give him special food and stuff like that.

My cat tends to do this too. He's just more comfortable to play with you. To stop him doing this the best thing is to walk away and ignore him after he bites you. This should (hopefully) make him realise that what he is doing you don't like. Seems to work with my cat..sometimes!

When he bites you, immediately tap him once on the top of his head (not too hard but enough to get his attention), point your finger straight at his face, and say "DO NOT BITE!". And pay attention to his manners - cats usually put their ears back when they're about to take a nip.

He's on to you...lol. Male animals respect more of their gender than females, even if you are a person. You can earn your cat's respect, so it will do the same to you. Pamper it..spoil it. That's what I'd do! Goodluck!
