Apparently on an interview (I forget who with), she told the interviewer that she read the Bible every day in her cell. He asked her which passage was her favourite. She looked nervous, looked through her notes, and after a while said she didn't really have a favourite.
Of course not! This is just another story to get her popular with the masses of religious zealots out there who think that anyone who is religious must be as good as gold. As usual, Paris Hilton's attempts to become popular have backfired anyway.

I would like to believe the best in people as much as possible.
It just seems to me the publicist, that she obeyed so blindly, fired?, and rehired just before going into the slammer, coached her well.
Jailhouse conversions are nothing new. Photo ops with the Bible in product placement view is. Claiming sympathy by Bible reading seems too timely.
In country music circles, the artists are just as heathen as their bank accounts allow. When they are caught at it on tape or pictures, they have image control problems. They have for decades known that making the TV circuit singing a few "spirituals and hymns" will fix everything.

I don't know. I do ask God, in the name of His son, to show her the truth, the life and the way. That young lady was headed for destruction. Going to jail may have been the best thing that ever happened to her. Funny, there are so many people walking around free in bondage; ironic if she was set free when behind bars.
