Terminating the lives of innocents should be a concern for Christians, so I'm asking how you feel about this. There are those who claim to be Christians and then say they believe in terminating the lives of unborn children. Reasons people give-a woman has a right to do what she wants with her body. Do you also approve of prostitution? Why aren't you concerned that it's illegal for us to sell our body parts? Rape. If you were conceived because of rape, would you want to live or die? Disabilitiy. Do you think all disabled people should be terminated? How would you go about doing this, the way the Nazis did it?
How do you feel about school children telling a disabled scoolmate their parents say they should have been aborted, because they're different? Have you spoken with abortion survivors who were "normal" and are only disabled because someone attempted to abort them? Should these survivors be terminated after they are born since it was alright to do this before they were born? Method?

The majority of abortions are done for the reasons of convenience and selfishness, not because of the way a child was conceived or because the child was disabled.

I can assure you that an unborn child has a brain and I can also assure that I value a human being much more than a tape worm. I would NOT kill a little boy or anyone else if someone told me this act would cure my cancer nor do I know of anyone who has been cured in this way. Yes, it is illegal in this country to sell body parts. For those who are concerned for our society as a whole, consider how many millions of people would be alive and in the work force paying taxes today and in the future if they had not been an inconvenience before birth. Our government claims very soon there aren't going to be enough workers paying taxes to pay retirees their social security. They will have to raise taxes a LOT or cheat retirees out of their social secuity. Our nation is reaping what has been sown.

To everyone born after 1973, you are very fortunate. One third of this generation has been aborted. I suppose that means one third of all the children conceived were a result of rape or incest or were disabled.

2 Timothy 3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Abortion is murder in any circumstance.
You are purposely, with forethought, taking the seed of God and stabbing it until it is dead.
It will no longer produce what would have been a valuable human being filled with the Spirit of God himself.
All who participated in the process, be it the physical act or mental decision bear equal responsibility.
Women - Nothing is yours that hasn't been given to you by the Creator himself - even your Body. From dust you are created, and to dust you will return.
Whatever your "plans" were before you got pregnant is not a rationale for committing murder.
Even in the case of Rape, you do not repay a vile sin with a vile sin.

1) It's not a child until it can survive on it's own. Until then, it's a parasite.
2) Do you let other parasites live off you? Hey, that tapeworm is a living thing too! And a lot bigger than a fetus!
3) Yes, prostitution should be legalized - Vegas did, and now they have strict controls - no more spreading diseases or children being pushed into it. They can go to the law when they have problems.
4) It's not illegal to sell body parts - just on ebay.
5) I think anybody would choose to live, no matter how they were concived. But a fetus isn't capable of making a choice. It doesn't have a brain.
6) No, why are you including that here? Talk about not related.
7) What? Like who?

Abortion is wrong. If you are raped and are impregnated, there is always the option of adoption.
I know a woman who doctors suggested abortion because the child had spinabiffida (is that how you spell it?). The only thing wrong with the child is that her legs--just below her knees (involving her shins and feet) are paralyzed. She wears braces on her legs. That is her only problem. Aside from that she is perfect.
Should this child have been aborted? NO!!!
I am glad her mother decided against it.

It is *never* morally licit to hurt an innocent person for a supposedly greater good.
It is never licit to deprive the rights of some, so that the happiness of the majority would be increased.
Any society *must* be based upon justice to persons, or else it is invalid.
For example, if the price of curing all cancer was the deliberate killing of an innocent young boy (for example, if an advanced alien race made such an offer), it would not be allowed to be done.

I know people (especially children) can be very cruel.
Personally, I think that abortions are murder. (I am not judging anyone that has had an abortion, there is no condemnation in Jesus Christ.) Jesus offers forgiveness to everyone!
There are very few reasons for an abortion...and using it as birth control isn't one of them.
For those that choose abortion, they will have to live with that decision for the rest of their lives. I've seen what it does to women that have it done...and the regret and remorse is unbelievable.
Again, Jesus offers all of us forgiveness...we haven't done so much that He doesn't love us...He wants to show us His love...so He did, by dieing on the cross while we were still sinners.
I pray all find the peace, joy and happiness in the God the Father, through Jesus His Son.
Peace and grace to you...

The only acceptable reasons for abortion are in the case of incest, rape, or for legitimate medical reasons-the health of the mother or a severly deformed or damaged fetus. Too many people use abortion as a means of birth control. There are a lot of safer, less expensive, and more humane ways of birth control available. Maybe even abstinance in the case of the unmarried.

35 million babies have died since Roe v Wade, just in our country. What kind of answer can we give to God that can justify this in any way. Less people died in the Holocaust.
God will one day judge the nations, imagine for a minute what He will tell us. Also, our society will never realize what it has lost. Imagine if one of these babies would have be born and found the cure for cancer. We will never know.

Abortion is murder, pure and simple. We must continue to pray for our leaders and especially our judges so that this horrible scourge will be wiped out legally.
We must also continue to pray that the Lord will continue to avert judgment on this nation. Judgment must come but we can avert it through prayer.
I Cr 13;8a
Personally I look forward to seeing all those who were aborted in this life in Heaven, singing praised to God
throughout eternity. Not so sure about those that did the
aborting. But I pray for their repentance.

Interesting question but heres another
If a tree is deseased and the fruit thereof are likely to be also isn't it better to remove the problem rather than foster it?
It is a matter of logic however in this scenario you pose it is a matter of conscience

When it comes to abortion and "pro-choice", the choice was made when the woman decided to have unprotected sex. And yes, I know that rape victims didn't have a choice, but abortions done in cases of rape make up just a small fraction of the total number of abortions committed.
