Take a pot and fill with sliced onions and enough cheap beer to just cover the sausages. Boil for about 7-8 minutes and then grill until brown. Then you can top the sausages with the onions. Very good!

about 10 minutes to boil (but, boiling isn't necessary) and about 30 minutes grilling time on low heat if it's pork. as long as the juices runs clear from the sausages, they should be done.

I boil my brats (or similar large sausages) in a couple cans of beer and a sliced onion and let them sit until the grill is ready.....and then grill them till they're nice and flame-licked.....I like mine a little singed around the edges......Enjoy the 4th!!!!

I usually par boil my Brats ,Italian Sausages around 15 minutes and then spend another 10 minutes or more finishing them off to give them that seared look ,

tip : peel an onion or 2, cut it into rings , then go out and buy a couple Large cans (40 oz.) of beer , combine them in a pan large enough to hold (and parboil) your sausages in then follow the directions above .

They are delicious !

Why on God's green earth would you EVER BOIL?

By boiling your sausages first, you're boiling out 95% of the flavor. If you're going to grill, grill.

NEVER BOIL THE MEAT FIRST.
