I have two fridges one is used for a tap system, the other was white. I used semi gloss latex on both of them so they would match, been a year and no problems yet. Did clean them up real good first and applied with a roller.

as one of the answer suggested the appliance spray paint you can buy in a can, you don't need a body shop or any weed to complete this job, wipe it down with a paint deglosser to remove any contaminates that will interfere with the paint adhering, mask off your handles and gasket and spray away (of course use a drop for surrounding area, plastic) the key is stay a good 10 inches away and move your hand , don't stay in one area and put on multiple coats waiting no longer than 15 minutes in between coats or you could lift the first coat, just read the label and follow the direction, done all kinds of appliances with great results, good luck Les the painter

You don't. You call a professional to do that. There is a special paint they use (and I think it's baked on as well) and for the professional to breathe it in it's cancer causing. Once it's dry it like the original paint job.
Of course it's up to you if the paint job costs the same as getting a new frig. You can always give the old frig away to Salvation Army or St. Vincent de Paul society and get a receipt and use that on your taxes.

Well we learned the spray gun using auto paint on junkyard refrigs. It takes practice so you don't orange peel or ripple. If black is your color choice, just get a paint brush and patio furniture paint. Be sure to dull the original surface and wipe it with a tack cloth. Keep the paint off the rubber.

Go to Wal-Mart they have a can spray paint for such things as the appliances. Called appliance paint.
You don't need a pro I did mine and i just used a air mask. You might want to clean it real good and also remove any rust. sand it down use a primer then spray lightly, use many coats until you happy. let it dry between coats.

If you ask the auto mechanic at the shop, he can (spray) paint it for you with automotive enamel, the one they use on cars. (Saw it done on TV)
