Looks like the transmission is gone. Those caravans are known for having bad trannies that almost always will break down at around 60,000 miles.

first of all the trans may not be gone, many transmissions have whats called a limp home mode that if there is a small problem it prevents further problems from occurring, check the fluid levels and get it to a shop, there may be major problems with it but maybe not

first you need to take it and have a computer scan done on it,then if you get any trouble codes from it this might help you with solving why its doing this,it could be a stuck valve body ,or a bad governor in it causing this to happen,i think either way you look at it on this one it may have to be tore down to be repaired,id also check the linkage, there may be the possibility that it may have come loose on it,good luck with it hope this helps.

Thats right. It's prob. in limp in mode. Useally a speed sensor. But you'll need a scanner to conferm. Do the basics. Check fluid condition and level.

Dirty fluid, stuck servo. Go to autozone.com and look under the tech support section. It will assist in the info on how to check and repair your problem. It also has a diagnosis section.
