Yes, it's a sin to love the same sex, but just like all sins, except suicide, it can be forgiven.

well, what can i say....? All I can do is give you my opinion based on my beliefs, and if you dont believe this it wont help you at all so... I definitely believe that God created man and woman, and since I believe in the Bible, it says that homosexuality is a sin. Now, I dont hate anyone for this, because in the same list it says that liers, infidelity, homicide, greed, are all sins. NOBODY is exent of sins, we were all apart from God because of the sin, but we can become close to God because of the sacrifice JesusChrist made for all of the humanity, and that way, be forgiven for our sins. So, I would advice you to, first, become closer to God, I am not advicing you to change religion or seek one, just to become close to God, through Christ, and after that the restoration process begins. I am sorry if this doesn't like you or anyone else who reads this, but, hey, the girl wanted an opinion, and this is what I believe.

Yes you do need help. In nature opposites attract and like repel. Put the same poles of a magnet together and what happens? They jump away! Just like you should. Confess and forsake your sins and you will be forgivn. You know what happens if you don't. Under the law same sex partners are stoned so the folly of this foolishness is stopped. Where will all these people that tell you it's ok to love another female be on judgement day? They are NOT more powerful than God. Fear God and keep His commandments.

If you believe in the concept of God it is a sin for the reasons religion claims.

However if you simply love a girl that is fine but to seek sense gratification from that relationship will ultimately take you away from the exact purpose you exist with is probably procreation put simply.

So it is a natural sin if it takes you away from the reason nature has preset for you such as motherhood.

It maybe just a phase that you may grow through and for this your age doesn't matter.

Good Luck

But if you are scared then talk to someone you trust about it.

Not public forums.

Wow! You certainly stirred up some things here, huh? lol It seems like almost everyone who has answered you here, is talking about GOD and how it's supposed to be Adam and Eve, etc... Don't listen to ANYTHING they are saying. It's good to actually try new things at least once in your life. At least you can say that you have done it, and you will now know if it's something right for you or not, huh? It doesn't sound like you are a full blown lesbian, just more bi-sexual curious, huh? Enjoy! Experiment! And don't let anyone stop you or tell you what you are doing is WRONG, ok dear?

All of you who answered, where did she say anything about sex. You people couldn't get your mind out of the gutter long enough to even pay attention to this gurl.
Listen, God loves us more than we are capable of loving, more than we can get our minds around. Stop being scared because a bunch of yahoos, some of them not even in here, want to tell you that they think they know something and you have to believe it too or you are sinning. To quote a well "known"Book : Judge not lest ye be judged." Based on some of the answers I read, I wouldn't want to be judged the way most of them jumped right into an unspoken "sin". Just love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as you love yourself, you will be alright. That's not to say for you to not study different religions. I figure if they all say that something is right, they're probably right. If they all say something is wrong, they're probably right. Just stop the fear, guilt, and all negative thoughts. God wants you to be happy, and to have life more abundantly. Simply get to know your God, and what that means to you, and you won't be so bothered with people yelling witch, witch!! ooops I mean sin, sin, sin!

Blessed Be

Engaging in homosexual relationships or homosexual intercourse is a sin. Having a predisposition toward homosexuality is not a sin. We may not always be able to choose our feelings thoughts and desires, but we do choose our actions.

Everyone has predispositions toward sin or natural weaknesses. For some it's stealing, others are naturally more prone to violence. Some people are more susceptible to peer pressure or drug addiction and others have sexual interests in children. It's understandable to have these tendencies, but that doesn't make it OK to act on them.

Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's right.

If you believe the Bible, that is one of the "gross sins" or more heinous sins before God. Is it considered when determining your eternal fate? No. Your eternal fate is based on one thing: do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. If you believe that He died on the cross to cover our sins...well "gross sins" fall into that category. There are no sins that aren't covered.

Go ahead and love the other girl, but do you have to be sexual about it? You can't be just friends? Best friends, buddies?

"LOVE", God commands us to love one another. The first and greatest commandment is to love God, the second is to love one another as God loves us.

If you are talking about homosexuality then that is a sin. Pick up a Bible and read Romans 1:18-32 and see what God says about it...

You ask "What are sins"...Well, God is the one who made the law, God is the one who decided what sins are, so reading His word will give you the absolute answer to your question(s)

God did not make these laws to hurt you or to stop anyone from having fun. He made them because He loves you and wants to protect you from evil...If you really want to know, read His word... --Blessings!

Having sexual intimacy with someone of the same sex is sin according to the Bible. The feelings are not sin. The behaviors acting on those feelings are sin.

The best way to know what God wants from you is to read the Bible for yourself. Get an easy-to-understand translation like the New King James or the New International Version. You can buy Bibles at Walmart, K-mart, Target, and bookstores.

A good study Bible, like the Ryrie Study Bible or the Life Application Bible will help you with specific topics like purity. You can find one at a Christian bookstore or on line at Christian Book Distributors (CBD.com).

You can also read several translations of the Bible and see a Bible dictionary and search different topics on line for free at Lifeway.com.
