I am always optimistic..
Today I have been booted out of my own kitchen... My 19 yr old daughter is making dinner (she loves to cook) I have been told "Go play on your comp and get out of my kitchen." LOL hurt my feelings make me not cook LOL
We are having
grilled marinated chicken breast
potato salad
macaroni salad,
grilled corn on the cob (some coated in butter, salt and pepper... some coated in butter Parmesan and a dash of chili powder)
Ice cream with grilled apple and grilled peach toppings
We have watermelon (It's already in the ice chest getting nice and cold..) to take along to the fireworks this evening...
It is definitely turning out to be a good day.. My son keeps sneaking into the kitchen to steal olives and make my daughter yell so all is normal on this front LOL
I know my son is a notorious olive thief and have 4 cans hidden in my room I will bring out when it's time to eat LOL

My days are 75% optomistic and maybe 13% pessimistic. The rest is undecided. I've come to the point in my life when I'd rather look at the sun side of the day than the cloudy side.
If I spent my days thinking the whole world was cloudy and found out later how much sunshine I had missed, I'd be a bit ticked dont you know?

I am in Texas. It is supposed to be semi desert here. It has been raining for over a month now. I am getting ready to work on the Ark
My picnic AND the fireworks tonight are off. I am glad someone is having fun.

Yes, I am optimistic today! It's sunny, not too hot, and the humidity is low.
Plus I got to Level 4 this afternoon.

My wife chose to remodel our kitchen, and I got a new Barbeque out of the deal - gonna fire it up for the first time tonight! MMMMM MMMMM Good (there's my optimism - I'm hoping I don't accidentally blacken the dinner)

im more optimistic about tomorrow, when the fools arent blowing off fireworks. however it supposed to thundrstorm and such, so it is getting better.
