Ok, what is your take on cloning? I mean some think it's morally wrong. However, I think the link below does provide a very positive reason why we should do it. What do you think?

When you clone, you take a living cell, destroy its DNA, and insert the desired DNA. When you are talking about whole-individual cloning, that means killing a zygote (fertilized egg) - something that already has the potential to become its own being. This is morally wrong if you believe that the spirit enters the body at the point of conception.

Cloning individual organs does not involve killing a potential being, so it is morally acceptible. We already clone skin for burn victims.

Contrary to popular belief, a clone ages the same - we don't have the accelerated growth technology used during Star Wars' Clone Wars. A clone is its own individual with its own personality. You can think of a clone as an identical twin which was born later.

I don't see anything morally wrong with it. The problem I see with it is the clone will have no individuality. He is just a copy and that doesn't seem fair to the clone.

I think it has nothing to do with "morals". What I think is the problem is that mankind is not yet ready for that kind of power. Think the prejudice, hatred and anger are terrible against other races? Just wait until we have cloned people and see how bad it gets.

All I can say about cloning is this...It took over 50 times for that male ram to jump the fence and create "Dolly"

cloning will be the way in the future. it holds the key to immortality and the eradication of human frailty and deformity and researchers are already making great progress in all sorts of areas especially medicine. will there be potential for abuses?...yes indeed! but that is just the way it is. human nature is human nature...

God made each and every one of His creations unique and different from each other i disagree with cloning and think if we start messing around with Gods creations we will pay dearly for it

Human cloning is playing God. He is the sole creator. I think we should leave it to Him. These creatures couldn't be human, because they would have no souls.
