I have problems with depression, anxiety, paranoia, and I always try to isolate myself from people. I'm always freaking out if people look at me...I think they are plotting against me. This is no way to live.

No, it's no way to live, Jason, and I applaud you for recognizing that you need help. Your first step is to be evaluated and treated. This can start by your family doctor, who can prescribe medication. But you need to see a psychiatrist, which you know by now.

Getting treatment on a low income can be challenging at best, but can be done. Usually, the local health department will have a mental health program and the best one(s) will have a psychologist there as well. Most programs have a sliding scale to help you with payment. I wish you the best and want you to know that recovery is possible, but you can't do it alone. If you click on my profile, you can get my e-mail address and I'll be glad to talk to you anytime and for any reason to save your life. Meet me halfway and I'll meet you halfway. Best of luck and GOD bless!

You can get help for free or low cost. I strongly suggest that you contact the mental health agency in your community, look in the phone book under that title or something similar. Ask to see someone who can talk to you about obtaining help. Also, churches sometimes offer low cost or free counseling.Take care, continue to take care of yourself, help is out there.

Check out your local community mental health or behavioral health programs.

Yeah, same deal with me. From my experience your probably just screwed.
Most places that offer free help will just put you on a waiting list and then you'll never hear anything from them.
