Dogs normally go into heat 2 times a year. If her vagina is getting enlarged she will start any day now. Be careful and good luck..
Thank you for getting her spayed.

If she was on heat in January there's a good chance that she will be due again in July if she follows a 6 monthly pattern.
You'd be wise to keep a careful eye on her from now on and make sure she isn't ever left unsupervised .
Once she has had this season you should really wait three months, in between seasons, before you have her spayed.
My Vet insists on this. Apparently it gives time for all the hormones to settle.
Good luck.

Well your dog could get pregnat in this heat cycle so whatch her carefully. Her next heat cycle should be comming up expecially if she is swollen as far as an exact date I am unsure. I do know that if she dose get pregnat again is is verry hard on dogs so early. I would watch her for the next few days and see if she starts bleeding. Although I cannot give you a date as to when she starts I do know this Dogs have a 21 day cycle. thats 7 days going into heat being swollen 7 days in heat bleeding and 7 days commimg out of heat hope I was helpfull.

KEEP HER SUPERVISED. Usually dogs go in heat every 6 months if she is starting to swell but the bleeding has not started she is still coming in.. Yes she can still get pregnant, so keep an eye on her, and don't leave her outside (fenced in or not) unattended. Every male in the neighborhood will smell her when she throws off the right scent..
good luck

some dogs can come into heat between 4 to 6 months after being in heat previously. if she is swelling then she has started her heat cycle, which can last up to 3 weeks with bleeding only being in the last week to week and a half. if you don't want any more puppies and are wanting to get her fixed then you should take precaution.

yes she can get pregnant at each heat. teh rule is every 6 months but it differs from dog to dog.
keep a very close on her as she should be coming into heat soon.
they also sometimes have a dry heat where they don't show collor or swellmuch but can still be bred and some dogs don't come in every 6 months but before and a couple months later.
it's very hard to say so just keep a very close look on her.
