* Iran is a known supporter of state terrorism.
* Iran openly calls for genocide of other countries.
* Iran is ruled from the shadows by a group of clerics from a religion that believes you are given massive rewards in the afterlife if you kill yourself and take a bunch of non-believers with you.
So yes.. very dangerous.

You know, occidentals still think that the most powerful weapons is the nuclear bomb... They don`t know that the most dangerous weapons on earth is informations control.
The game here is simple, Iran is not with the US, but with Russia and China, so if Iran goes nuclear, those countries would be capable to extand their economic influences in the region (interests too), so to get more control on energy and oil ressources, as well as social developments. So, the less countries that remain ally with the US, the least power they have to control informations in the world, which also means a loss of influence in the region and weaker soft power leverages against those countries in the same region under the new iranian nuclear Umbrella.
So the US stance on this nuclear issue, is: we can do it, but if your not with us, we will not allow you to set it up. In other words, they want to buy or invade Iran, the later should happen sooner, like end of August early september, when american families are busy with the back to school event (no time to think about it, and easier to control).

When a country that is rich in oil revenue and does not have enough gas to supply its own people, but will spend billions of dollars to develop Nuclear bombs, questions the motives of that country. One would think it would supply power for its people to live on by building refineries for gas before it worries about military. This makes it dangerous because the Government of Iran have chosen war over satisfying the Iranian peoples needs.

Nuclear power isn't a danger, nuclear weapons are.
Perhaps when Iran has a leader who doesn't scream that he's going to "wipe Israel off the map", people will be willing to hear out Iran's nuclear development program.
Get rid Ahmadinejad and those advocate senseless murder, then we'll talk.

Iranians are very selective in how they perceive their own country.
A corrupt Islamist fundamentalist circle runs the country, oppresses its own people, kidnaps foreign soldiers and dishes out rhetoric on "wiping out" other countries from the face of the earth.
Iran should not have nuclear weapons, it already acts irresponsibly with the conventional weapons it does have.
