I am trying to find out if fat in food is stored as fat in the body? I know that sugar once metabolized if not burned can turn into fat. But if fat is metabolized does it still turn into fat or does it pass?

This is mostly pertaining to women, and sources would be very helpful.

ALL the food you eat is transferred into energy and if not used only then stored as fat in body.
Its all about calories in VS calories out.
e.g. people refer to foods as "fattening" - there is no such thing!

Excessive fat from food is stored in the body.

Small amounts of fat are needed to digest vegetables. The fat leftover from that process get pooped out.
