Some sins are worse than others...Doesn't this mean some sins are more agreable with Allah? Can Allah be perfect and righteous and in agreement with sin? The God that was before Muhamamd believe all had sinned and fallen short of God's glory and all sin equaled death. It is the reason man needs a righteous God and his atonement.

yakkydoc If Allah simply forgives sin does that not mean he is compromiseing his righteousness? can Allah say a sin is okay or forgiven and be totally righteous and perfect?

Sunshine your answer is very interesting as I have proposed to Muslims sin causes death it is a Biblical principle. the Qur'an says Adam was forgiven but the Bible says Adam would surely die.
If all men fall short by sinning then we definitely need God's atonement. Again regardless of the sin if God is total righteousness he can not overlook ANY sin. If we die due to sin We then are all resurrected rihgteous having paid he penalty of sin for ourselves? If the penalty is death will we not remain dead? It is the pos\wer of the atonement and the resurrection paying the penalty of death and a righteous savior who overcame sin and death for us with his resurrection that grants us the resurrection as a righteous being in agreement with God's righteousness.

Sunshine to ask if I punish a murderer the same as a person who commits what I consider a lesser sin is to presume I could judge as a rihgteous God who is without any sin. I could consider one sn lesser as I am not perfect...If I am perfect and I overlook any sin I then become imperfect in agreement with sin. It does not matter which sin is worse as all sin is too much sin for a righteous God to overlook.

Roshni If I judge by degree I am saying one sin is more agreeable than another...There is not other way to judge by degree..I say littering is lesser than Murder because I agree littering is a lesser wrong...Now if I say I am perfect then any wrong is too much wrong and the punishement becomes the same. I do not agree with any sin then there can be no degree judgement. If you say God judges by degree the way a man judges then I say Allah can not be a righteous God. he can not say he is perfect and judge a sin as lesser as all sin is too much sin and God can not agree with any sin and remain absolute righteous.

Lawrence very good to see you again also. I understand that a man's jugegement allows for a sin to be lesser than another but f God is alll complete righteous..any sin would be too much sin. You an not be perfect and overlook any sin as then you become imperfect.
the Bible God as opposed toi the Allah of Islam does not agree wiht any sin and all sin is equal to death. The reason for this is the God of the Bible is abolute righteous and does not agree with any sin and all sin is punished by death. It is also the reason a righteous God did provide the atonement God is both righteous and merciful... God does not compromise his righteousness to be merciful.

Yes Lawrence God's righteousness does find us all guilty murderers and rapist and all of us are equally not perfect and equally sentenced to death.
Not ONE man did ever reamina perfect but teh Son of god who is God in teh flsh who came to the world to atone for sins fo every man who loves God and seeks his truth and accepts the atonement. All who accept this atonement are now by faiht changed to God's righteousness and are no longer murderers and rapist but made new by faith in Jesus Christ.
The literal rebirth is not of this world but the next what we have now we have by faith. the point is the true god ia a righteous God and he can forgive sin wihtout becoming unrighteous but it is done by paying the penalty of death for us without this atonement we are not righteous and all perish in our sin.

Roshni May God bless you. It is not for us to decide god's truth what is more comfortable for us but to allow God to be God and to reveal his truth to us. the true god of Abrham is absolute righteous there are no small sins all sin cause us to fall from God's glory and the only rihgteous answer would be our death or making us rihgteous and the only way for amn ot become rihgtoeus is through the atonement God did provide it proves our need for God and his mercy.

Maramah to say leseer sins or bg and small sins is saying some sins are more agreeable or other sins are less agreeable...whichever it is saying some sins are lesser sins... You can not be total rihgtoeus and find any sin lesser as all sin is sin and not to your likablilty or agreement....any sin is too much sin for a perfect God...If God does punish by dgree he is in some way saying the
is is less righteous than that and agreeing with some to some degree...the God that I believe in says all sin is death there is not good and bad sin all sin is bad sin and all is punishable by death.

To all of you thanks of your answers..seek God and his truth. God is not a God that tolerates any sin all sin is too much sin God is abslolute righteous and all men sinned. We all fell from the perfection of God and all sin equals death but for Gods forgiveness ..God's forgiveness is not to compromise his righteousness agreeing with our sin but that all who sinned is guilty and the punishement is death and God who is merciful and righteous did pay that penalty and remains perfect but still offers salvation through the atonement.

Ismail, The God of Adam is the God of Moses who in the first scriptures told the true story of Adam.... if you are in agreement with the God of Adam You should read the first book of Moses where Moses tells the story of the Garden and man's fall from God's glory....The God of Adam does tell a different story than the Islamic Allah which was writen over two thousand years later. In the original story God did forbade Adam drom eating fo the tree of knowledge of good and evil and told Adam that if he ate of this tree he would surely die....get the point all sin equals death...also in the book of Moses omited for Muhammad's Qu'ran was the tree of life that was in the midst of the garden.

Samantha if the Judge was a perfect and righteous judge yes all sin is not in agreement with God. god does not see his people in degrees of rihgteousness it is a lie of the devil that there are degrees of good...Either you are good or you are not. All sin is sin there are no little sins that dont count opr count less...God is total righteousness not partly righteous...all sin is too much sin. In God's mercy he paid the peanlty of death for you but god remans perfect and rihgteous he does not agree with your sin and call you righteous.

It is man's idea that he can be good or do good. To be good is to be perfect and nly God is perfect. Any sin is too much sin and then a man is not good.
God is a righteous God he dos not agree with any sin all sin is bad and all bad is destroyed. God does not asy a man is both good and bad...there is no romm to be both you ere either perfect or you are not perfect, just one sin destroys a good man. God does not compromise his rihgteouness to join a man in sindhe does not agree with any sin but all sinners inherit death and seperation from a righteous God. It is the reason God came to the world as a man Jesus Chrsit who did remain perfect and did pay the penalty of death for all those who accept the atonement..God remains totaly righteous and totally merciful. A perfect God.

Lawrence you have a very poor idea of what a righteous God is. Righteous means absolute perfection without any fault. From this you somehow say that heaven is goig to be full of rapist and murderers...And I tell you the truth a righteous God can not be linked to ANY sinner NONE all sinners do perish. ther will not be anyone in heaven with ANY sin whatsoever. we like to thnk of ourselves as good and Hitler as bad...but I tell you the truth we are all evil that have not accepted the atonement.
There will be NO sinners in heaven not even you ro me but all that will be in heaven will be absolutely perfect and without sin. it is Allah's paradise that allows those with small amounts of sin to enter his paradise...This is the point of my question. The true God of Abraham can not be linked to ANY sin. ALL sin is bad there are not good and bad sins,
Sin causes death and there is no sin or death in heaven.
The reason we need God to save us is we are all sinners and God will not be joined

to sin. Jesus came to the world to save his people form sin. Sin shows us our need for God.The law did not make us perfect. The law demonstrates our need for God. Jesus brings us to God's righteousness. It was never God's plan to join us in our unrighteousness but to bring us to his righteousness.

It's good to see you again Mr. It depends on your definition of the sin.. Some sins can be tolerated.. the stealer of an apple can not be in the same line with the genocider. Perfection is to understand differences and be flexible, not to Kill sinners. If justice in your eyes is to kill sinners, then please go and check your Bible and advised us; "Why didn't God Kill all the prophets of the bible?"
Incest:
Genesis 19:32
"Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father." How would you explain that a prophet committed incest?!!
Murder of Civilians:
"1 Samuel 18:7
As they danced, they sang: "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands."
Murder of other prophets for the TITLE !!:
1 Samuel 18:11
and he hurled it, saying to himself, "I'll pin David to the wall." But David eluded him twice."
As david Escapes, Saul No longer gets inspiration, and kills himself, By This he's the First prophet ever to commit suicide :D:D:D!
How can God tolerate such sins? That's the Question and from who? from prophets that call the people to God!
Is it fair? That murderers, Rapists, theives, are forgiven, just like a man who lived and died homless, his sin was to steal a loaf of bread to eat? is this justice as you consider?
EDIT: So, The son of God, who's God in Flesh, came to earth, took all sins off, and by that, poor people, innocent children, freedom fighters, died for nothing. All Tyrants, murderers, Rapists, Cannibals, are forgiven and saved because god has taken all the sin of the doers, right? Hitler and his victims are in heaven together. and The "CUCKLOX clan" is in heaven with all the people they burnt. This is a strange side of justice.
Nothing is called to be good is to be perfect ma brother. Perfection is not for humans.

Of course some sins are worst then others, but that doesn't mean that they are agreable with God.
"The God before Muhamad" is a rediculous statement because He is the same God, and even during Muhammad's period (and 'till this day) we are all falling short of God's glory, and that's why there are things called "repent" "Nawafil" (meaning extra deeds), and all the other ways of seeking God's forgiveness.
God is rightous, and for that not all sins are punished with death.
Think of it, can you find it reasonable to punish a murderer and a person who puts trash in the road with the same thing? That will be unjust, and God is Just with all his creations.
Peace.
This needs a long debate, would you mind e-mailing me? I'd really love to help.

Think of first man, Prophet Adam..Did he call upon Jesus or the One True God Almighty. He is the first man and of course there was no false doctrines about God. Trinity is not invented, idols also not there. Muslims worship the same God of Adam. The Same God Almighty that all prophets of God came and taught. Upon whom Jesus sought help and prayed. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed he was god or said he was part of trinity. Did he say you are born a sinner... that was created in order to support the false idea that Jesus died for the sin of eating the apple. If you are really seeking the truth, this is the very truth. That there is none worthy of worship but God Almighty. Understandable to every common man.
Yes, sins are of different grade. Hell has seven gates according to the severe of the sins. I think this is a common sense and need not explain. There are seven major sins in Islam.

Sir !you always make things complicated but for nothing..! there are sins of variable degree which are punsihed accordingly and this is justice ! and thats wht our righteous God does..(Yes Allah is different from your God Jesus) ..And there is also an option of repentance...some sins are not forgiable like suicide and killing innocednts etc ..but small sins are forgivable to every extende provided if the forgiveness is asked with true heart and person truely repent and that is Judged by Allah himself..!
Now various degree of sins does not show that some sins are agreable with Allah..it just show that Human can commit different degree of sins and Allah judge and treat it accordingly..the degree of sins are becuase of Human not becuase of God's judgment !He is the Judge only and actualy the sins are one own act which are influenced by satan and being less caring about Allah !!
i guess its better option to treat the sins with various degree than asking for one person to pay for sins of others..I guess our God is better judge where everyone pay for one own crime and not for others..!!and he can truely be called righteous ! A just one is righteous..
and sorry as always your question is so incomprihensible for my lil brain..but as you have asked about "Allah" so i could not stop myself from answering( in whatever way i did) !
You are a good christains Sir...but you always look islam in totally different way..And could never accept it a religion !okay !you choice !
have a good day!

Not more agreeable, but some are less worse than others.
It doesn't mean less agreeable it means not as bad as the others.
If I punch my cousin on the arm, it isn't as bad as burning someone alive.
ALLAH SWT doesn't agree with any of the sins whatsoever it's just that some aren't as bad as others.

Yes, there is lots of difference in sins.
The one who steal thing is so different from the one who kill people and enjoy.
After all of this there are some people who steal but they are hungry and need food but some one steal to hurt other people.
There are lots of differences in sins.
And Islam said us, to don't care about the sins if they are small or big but becareful about the big God that we sin agiant him and break his law.
The most important thing is to don't break God's law.
