People with an education know it is a hoax. Those who have little education and will believe anything believe it exists. Have you noticed that the same people who believe in Martians or believe in UFOs are the same people who believe in global warming.
How do you explain that 98% of of the polar ice caps are actually increasing? How do you explain that where auto use is the greatest (So. Calif) the temperature on average is about 2-3 degrees colder over the last 30 years.
How come the temperature on Mar has increased several degrees over the past decades. I did not realize there was that much fossil burning cars there.
All the above is undeniable fact which the global warming people try throwing under the rug.

No your not I don't believe it either. Watch a tv doc series called Earth Story with Aubrey Manning, it's got nothing to do with Global Warming, but all about how the earth started, what it's made from and how it all works etc. One part I remember in particular was that up until 8,000 years ago the climate was very variable and we have had a stable climate for the last 8,000 year. Maybe we are coming out of the stable period and are going back into a variable, or maybe we're just having a few years or maybe a decade of sh!t weather.
I have also just started reading a book called 'The chilling stars - a new theory on climate change' which is about how the sun and cosmic rays affect our climate.

Nope, you're not the only one to believe that global warming is a total fake. I just believe that it's natural warming. Caused by the sun, and our temperature is average. The sun intensifies and weakens its rays every few centuries, and right now, according to studies, the sun is shining at its strongest in 60 years. So, our temperatures are natural. In fact, data shows that our temperatures right now are actually average compared with some of the other temperatures in the past. About a thousand years ago, during the Medieval Warming period, temperatures were on average 2-3 degrees hotter than they are now. Besides, politicians also conveniently forgot to tell us that in the 1700's to around a hundred years ago, we were actually in a mini ice age called the Little Ice Age. So of course our temperatures are going to be higher now than in an ice age. Right now, we're only beginning to come out of an ice age. Yeah, also, in the 70's or somewhere around there, we were afraid of going into an ice age. It's ironic that now, we're afraid of the earth heating up.
And besides, politicians like Al Gore are not scientists, so what do they know? And they're preventing the other side from being heard.

Not at all, I thing Gore, and his crew are idiots. Now the world may be getting warmer. I know here in the mountain of Va, it does not snow like it did when I was a kid. but, I do not think for one minute that we (people ) are the cause of it, nor do I think we can prevent, slow, speed up (short of a nuclear war) or in any way effect the warming up. Whether or not this is a natural cycle , only time will tell. I do know with out a doubt, like it or not, that My Lord and Savior Jesus taught, in the last days, you would not be able to tell the difference in the seasons, spring, summer, fall or winter. I have little doubt that what is taken place for-tells we are heading into the last days, call me a nut, I don't care, I like my answers much better than Gore's "its all America's fault, everything wrong in the world is America's fault"

Global warming exists. Global cooling exists. These are well documented. What is not well documented is the numerous patterns and changes that occur independently and togethor and how much effect each has. We only have accurate weather measurements for about 100-150 years or so, so to say that humans are contributing to these changes in the way it is being presented by Big Al is a little preposterous. When scientists have figured out every mechanism of our weather and how they all work together then we can understand our impact on the climate of this planet. Otherwise "global warming" is about to produce all sorts of brand new economies, politics and it probably will develop into some sort of religion with Big Al as its God and his son as... Well I will leave that one alone for now!

I think that in all the millions of years that this world has existed, the temperature has changed many times! The ice age is one such change. So I don't think man has caused this global warming crisis, if it really is a crisis, to occur. I am of the opinion that world leaders wish to get rid of the motor car as we know it, because the Arabs control the fuel in the world, and they would rather get us all on to a form of public transport. They can then control the Wests oil consumption from the middle East. Can you imagine what they would save on road repairs alone? Never mind the savings on fuel Levy's to the Arabs! It's a bold plan! But very feasible! Have a good day.

Believer or not.. does it really matter?
We need to be good stewards of this planet.. Our generation's kids, and our kid's kids, will live here for a long long time...
Oil will not last forever, Coal and Oil pollute, Carbon Dioxide is not a great thing for the environment (or our lungs)...
You just have to realize that this planet cannot continue indefinitely to absorb all of the pollutants that human activities continously pump into it. It is very easy to realize that it is better if we do a little bit now, or even anything, now.. rather than later to minimize pollution.
At least in the US in the last 50 years we have done a lot to minimize pollution ..in many cases the air and water are cleaner today.. with higher rates of use and it supports more population.. but that does not mean we should do less to care for our planet.. but more..
Now, I am not talking about major changes in our lifestyles or standards of living like some alarmists assert we should make.. but would it kill any of us to use a little less of anything and to try to do our part?

well, i kinda do, and kinda don't. I think natural global warming is real, cos it's probably just the Earth's cycles, i mean, we had a mini ice age like five hundred years ago, so it's just cycles. I think global warming caused by humans is utter rubbish, though i do think we may have sped it up a bit, but CERTAINLY NOT caused it! besides, i think a bit of global warming where i am would be welcome at the moment lol! only joking!
i have a really wierd theory anyway, that most sane people would say is cr*p, but i'll say it anyway... i think the earth's axis is tilting even more, turning the northern hemisphere further away from the sun, and less hot and sunny, and the southern hemisphere closer, causing Antarctica to melt etc.
there are LOADS of holes in this, but just thought i'd put it across! =]

I have not read any of the previous posts but here's what I think. I do believe that global warming is happening without a doubt but I dissagre with the popular oppinion that it's caused by humans and humans alone. How can it be when our carbon emmissions are tiny compared with natural emmisions of CO2? The fact is that the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling quite naturaly. I don't despute that overall humans have been harmfull to the environment as a whole but Global warming is NOT down to humans! grrrrr... and that's what gets me wound up!

I am sad to say but global warming is not an opinion; it's a fact. All the carbon from pollution is building up in the atmosphere and trapping the sun rays resulting in global warming. You should watch an Inconvenient Truth if you want to learn more.
