The government and the churches try to control pocketbooks... they're both all about the green...

Like anything, it's what we allow to happen to us. The government can control our minds ... if we let it. Same with the church. Seek God through prayer and bible reading and you'll get the truth.

We have the final say as to what we will allow into our minds no one can force it on us. The church can't control our souls, only God can.

To me the only thing the government controls is keeping me from breaking mans laws. The ones you get punished for with jail. God and the church controls my total being therefore I would not need mans laws to stat with. I do nothing or at least try not to do anything that would offend my God.

I hope not. I'd say there's more truth to say: The gov't is in control of NOTHING, and the church only controls your MINDS.

The government (which also happens to be the right arm of the church) controls everything... except me.

Hmm, let's see....

I don't follow the media, and so the government hardly reaches the way I think of things, and I don't go to church, so No.

No truth in that for me.

Peace.

Oh YES! and what ppl don't realize is that they work TOGETHER!

You may think there is division in church & state, but if you look they are controlling where you can pray, what you can pray, etc.
