Keep an eye on it, but don't stress too much yet. However if she starts toe walking all the time, it might be a good idea to see a paediatrician to get her assessed.
Toe walking constantly can either indicate a problem with the achilles heel being too tight or can cause the achilles to shorten. In some cases it is completely idiopathic (without known cause). Some gait specialists believe that using a walker predisposes your child to toe walking. Most children outgrow toe walking, but a fair percentage won't and need further treatment. Only time will tell.

I bet you put her in a walker. Usually kids tip toe when they begin to walk because they were put in a walker before they began to walk. Don't worry, give her time she will outgrow it within a few months. I had the same problem with my son and he's ok now. Walkers are now NOT recommended.

Consult your Doctor's Nurse. Free advise from someone who knows your child.
From my nanny days I learned they many be uncomfortable trusting bearing of weight. I believe if u get her a toddler walker where she can place her feet solid on the ground it may help. She may use her arms more. Or stay on the toes... it depends. Walk with her and try to get her onto the arms. That is where the problem lies. She needs to trust her own strength. Then there are games u can play. Eventually she will grow out of it. Beware the more u stress on it the longer it will take her. :))
Happy 4th.

Lots of kids do this -its nothing to worry about when she gets a little heavier she will stop. My daughter did it until she was around three. If it bothers you then consult with her pediatrician but most children just outgrow this phase.
PS: shoes dont help and sometimes make it worse!!

My son is fourteen months old and does the same thing. I wouldn't be concerned as long as she can in fact walk and doesn't appear to be too bowlegged. You can put shoes on her, this usually helps my son to walk flat footed.

We had the same problem with our now ten year old. To be truthful you really can't do much. Just make sure that she has really good toddler shoes. Believe it or not she will grow out of it.
