I am a thirteen yr old girl and I need help finding a theme for my new room-it's lavender in color and quite big. Pls. help

I love lavender.It goes very well with yellow.
Those are the color of Iris'.
Try a poster of one [ or both ] of the first and second pictures found here by Van Gogh.

Have some dried lavender in glass or ratan bowls.Hang dried herbs from your ceiling and keep it light and fresh.

Pay attention to what you are into. If you are into music then put musical things around. Radios, posters of your fav groups, make racks for your cd's and stuff. Maybe you like flowers. They go great too. A rainbow could be pretty nice too. Maybe some clouds around the room. Whatever you are into is what you should have in your space. It's what makes YOU happy. Do you collect anything? Display it. If you are totally into boys then you might just wanna go with hearts. You are probably in High School by now. Are you into school things? You could put your school mascot and stuff from school around. Or if you want the more mature look then maybe you could make it more like a den only a little more feminine. I like the tropical look or the shore look. Go online to some of the decorator sites. They usually have good ideas. If you don't think you will be remaking your room in a few years then keep in mind you will be maturing within the next few years. Make sure what you do will be good and not things you will grow out of quickly. Maybe you should go for an organized look. Shows maturity and practicallity.

Do you need a theme? Just fill it with things you like; draperies or curtains or blinds, rugs, etc. Maybe have a desk or comfy chair for reading and a floor lamp. Put things on the wall that you like.

PBteen.com and macys.com is great for bedding. Get things in pink, green, white, and lavender - pink bedding, white or lavender or blue curtains, green vases, white furniture, and get a flirty, feminine theme.
