i know if you dont eat your body goes into starvation mode. so how can you loose a lot of weight and not go into starvation mode. [i know working out helps but that makes you gain muscle and i dont really want muscle but i work out anyway]

You have to eat 3 healthy low cal meals a day and a snack between each meal. Why do you want to become skinny? You are better off looking good and toned instead of skinny and untoned.

you have to eat healthy and exercise. that is the ONLY way to lose weight. If you try any other way you will gain it all back plus more, then it will be harder to lose the next time you try. It has to be a total lifestyle change, so you are eating healthy the rest of your life. As far as working out you have to. Strength training does build muscle, but this is good. It doesn't mean you will look like a body builder. Most girls aren't capable of building that kind of muscle, unless they are a professional bodybuilder and even they have to train for years. Building muscle is good because muscle burns more calories, even when you are at rest.

Don't worry about the muscle. It won't bulk up; a girl's body isn't designed like that.

Follow the food pyramid basically, and add cardio to your workout. Swimming is an all-over body workout, so that's one form of cardio. Another can be jogging, or just plain walking for 30 minutes a day.

Its plain and simple. Eat Less and excersise more! I had lap band surgery and the only reason I lost 80LBS is because I eat 1 portion size only per meal. Most americans eat 2-3 portions and don't even realize it. You shouldn't ever loose more then 1-2LBS a week or you will get sick and your body with shut down on you. Honestly, you don't need to excersise as long as you just eat the right portions and foods. No sugary drinks, no bread, no pasta, no potato, no fast food.....

Since you seem to not want to listen to reason on this (because you've asked this question previously) I will put it in big letters for you...

YOU CANNOT LOOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT WITHOUT PUTTING YOUR BODY INTO STARVATION MODE. IT IS THE NATURAL RESPONSE YOUR BODY GOES INTO TO WARN YOU THAT SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG.

Is that a little clearer for you now? You DO NOT want to do this to your body. What I strongly suggest is this; go see a good counselor and discuss why you want to ruin your health.

ab workout and running help me stay in shape
i mean you never become REEEALLY skinny cause thats not healthy at all
but just try eating low fat food or really lite food

GOD NO! Don't become really skinny, it can affect your whole life! You can go on a small diet, sure, but don't over do it!
