Go buy some shrimp and veggies and make shrimp and veggies kabobs. You'll have to buy some wooden kabob sticks as well you can find them at the grocery store but if you see any metal ones buy those instead as the wooden kabob sticks tend to splinter, Big Lots sells the metal ones for cheap! Buy a simple bottled marinade and marinate all the food such as cherry tomatoes, yellow peppers, shallots, zuchinni, yellow squash, pineapple and grill out!

It sounds like you do not cook. If Chef Boyardee is your standard dinner fare - I guess letting your boyfriend know, as soon as possible, is advisable. Myself would suggest a frozen entree (that could be put in a microwave) and a side of canned vegetables (like french cut green beans) that can be served either cold or hot.

We BBQ almost every week. Try going to the seafood section and find something that's the special. I love grilled salmon, it doesn't take very long. make sure it's wild caught and not farm raised. grill some onions basted with some olive oil and soy sauce, with asparagus or zuccinni. very satisfying.
