Hi there all - this morning I came across a starving pit bull puppy (you can see all of her ribs). I talked to the owners and they said they would like for me to take her - which I did. She needs medical care for open sores etc. I would have taken her to the humane society but shelters in this area have a strict "kill" policy when it comes to pit bulls. So thats not an option.

Can any of you guys help me find a pit bull rescue group in the 248/734 or 313 area codes? I've been looking and not having any luck. I know there are a bunch of animal lovers on here so I thought I would give it a try.

Thanks

Even though I do not care for the breed all that well, I hate to see any dog no mater what breed mistreated.

Email: njdelaney@sbcglobal.net
Phone: 734- 483-5310

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Have you tried calling the local humane society? They should know of any rescues in the area.
