why would a guy say he slept with a girl when he didnt? and then show her off to his friends. would he do that if the girl was unnattractive?or does she have to be fairly good looking?

With guys it's kind of like scoring points. They lie about sleeping with a girl to make their friends think they are cool and not a jerk. The more attractive a girl is the better it is for him. It's usually the good looking girls who are the highest points. And score the most praise and jealousy from the other guys. It's kind of like a game they play during high school and later in life. Some will play it longer into their life, these we call players. Some will actually sleep with the girl and some won't but will lie about it instead. The sad thing is it gives the girl who is being bragged about a bad reputation as a sleep around, and the guy only "sows his wild oats". I don't think many guys would brag about sleeping with an ugly girl, that would make him hard up.

I'd dump him asap. If he likes another girl and she him, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? Real love doesn't play games or have wandering eyes, it's committed and hard work. You MUST see this as a red flag, a deal breaker, strike three. Your young, i'm guessing, you shouldn't even be considering a SERIOUS relationship that is going to cause you insecurity. Have fun, don't become overly invested in this, WHAT? you can't flirt? Move on, the writing is on the wall and it spells trouble. Do yourself a favor and cut the guy loose, if it is destined to be, it will run it's course and he'll be back. But why you would take him back only you can answer.

the best answer to your question is simple. Guys are Stupid. Guys will do anything to make them selves look better whether it is to their friends or to the girl they like. It is kind of like the way a girl will flurt with someone to get the guy she really likes jealous. In the end, guys will say they slept with almost anyone, good looking or not.

She has to be good looking or if it's his g/f and shes ugly. Just to be like "I'm cool and I did it" Most of the time it's a lie. But who really knows but the girl even then it could be a lie...

guys do that to impress their friends and the people around them. they would do that if they think the girl is good looking yeah. or if shes hard to get.
