Check with your doctor before starting any exercise, many people with back problems should not exercise.
Swimming is the gentlest and generally the safest.

a lot of back pain is only temporary and soon improves with time - sometimes when taking anti-imflamatories it masks the pain and during certain exercises you can do yourself more harm so be cautious. Yoga, pilattes are good. General consensus is visit your GP if it persists. But keep active if you can, walk and do gentle stretches and hope you feel better soon

i heard that walking with your back straight is a very good excercise to reduce back pain.and if money is not so much a problem for u...u can also try the MBT shoes...they help too.Good Luck!!

Please be cautious and ask your doctor about your back pain and suitable exercises. I have back issues and am not allowed to exercise at all.
