Considering the situation you were in I think you are not guilty! You were defending your fiance & yourself from harm. I don't see how anyone could find you guilty for protecting your lives. The guy you stabbed is guilty & should be behind bars!

I would say that if your response was self defence then you should be ok.
What did you stab him with and did he survive? I think under the circumstances you wont be found guilty, and any judge who hears of the situation as you describe will be sympathetic. Its a terrible thing to have happened. I hope you are both OK and that it works out for the best. Good Luck.

Self defense, plain and simple. He hit you first and he was on your property, not to mention raping someone. I'm not sure how the judge will take it since the laws are different state-to-state but I'm sure he'll consider the circumstances. It would've been better if you'd just call the police so they could handle the situation accordingly and you could have use them to support your case.

you have evidence that he rapped her, bit both of you-the biggest points of concern is did you both report it.

in all of this I suggest some help from above=

and this is a guide to help you understand= John 3 repent from sins, even one lie and ask Jesus in to be your friend and help you understand, amen.

this helped me most the words of Jesus spoken from heaven for us= Revelation 1:1 (chapter 1: verse 1) & 3:19&20 "As many as I love I rebuke and chasten, be quick therefore and repent (turn from your sins/even one lie, to me. Behold I stand at your heart's door and knock, if you hear my word and open the door, I will come in and be your friend."

so i prayed "Jesus forgive me for my lust and lies, and other things and help me do better, be my friend, amen."

and truely Jesus became my best friend.

then your ready for the respect of others and the joy of life and heaven too=Seize the Day with Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Simplicity of the Good News
"It will always be true that the wisest course for the disciple is always to abide solely by the word of God in all simplicity." - THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
Putting God's Principles into action
We can make it all very difficult. In fact, we can make the good news obscure. We can make it an object of historical study, or the focus of a philosophical or ethical treatise, rather than a word which addresses us and challenges us to believe its precepts and to live accordingly. What is difficult about the Bible is not so much in understanding it, but in living it out.
What the Bible is saying
But God has blessed you, because your eyes can see and your ears can hear! Many prophets and good people were eager to see what you see and to hear what you hear. But I tell you that they did not see or hear. (Matthew 13:16-17)
Thoughts
The disciple wants to hear the Word of the Master and, because he or she loves the Master and is loved by Him, finds the Masters words believable and livable.

Praying the best for you too, David

Sounds like more of a who said and did what case. If you have proof that he was committing a crime and it truly was in self defense, then the judge should know exactly what to do.

The judge will consider the situation. If it is as you described I imagine the judge will find you not guilty because of extenuating circumstances.

first of all you both need a tetanus shot.
she needs to be examined by a physician so you will have data at the trial.
she needs to see a counsellor to help her through this.
You were trying to defend her.. I can't see you being charged. He was doing a criminal act , you tried to stop him and he acted out maliciously by harming you physically...You tried to protect her and acted rationally as far as I see it.

I am not a lawyer but, I would say what you did was justified.
The length of the blade of the knife may legal matter.
Make sure all three of you are tested for H.I.V. for the records.
I think you have proven to many friends and family and to your
fiance to be her knight in shining armor. 5 *****. :-})

You were acting in self defense of youself and another. The person who tried to rape your fiancee and attcked you will go to jail, but you won't. Don't worry about it. Again, you were defending yourself.
