the only fear I have is diappointing God and letting Him down.
Or committing sins I know NOT to do. I try to live like He would want and says to live> I want to please the all might God. The ones to really fear Him are the nonbelievers and the sinners that know they are wrong in what they do.

I do not. However some with whom I've spoken seem to fear rejection and disappointment, although Romans 5:1-5 ends by saying "the hope does not lead to disappointment; because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy spirit, which was given us". That is why Jehovah's Witnesses are persistently preaching and teaching the Good News of God;s kingdom. Satan has beaten so many down to a state of discouragement and hopelessness. He wants people to believe that God no longer cares and that worshipping Him is useless. We are there to tell them the truth about God His and glorious purpose for mankind and this earth.

Nobody fears faith in the living God, the real fear is reserved for the Fascists who claim to follow God and are just waiting to set up a Xian Theocracy, and a return to "Old Fashioned Xian Values", like Inquisitions, Torture, and Burning at the stake for Heresy.

Ahh, just listen to those Xians Now...."She's a Witch! Burn Her!"

Why do you assume that I am without faith due to fear? It is, in fact, the opposite. I have no fear of imaginary damnation, or of death. The only reason that I and most atheists have for our unbelief is the fact that there is no evidence in favor of belief. It really is just that simple, no matter how often you theists insist that we are angry with that in which we do not believe, or that we fear belief, or whatever nonsense you may spout in a vain effort to make our unbelief fathomable to your indoctrinated pea-brains.

Gilbert,

I do not fear faith in any god. I just do not have faith in any god. What I do fear is the bad behavior of certain god-believers.

I hope I have made myself understandable.

Regards,

CC

I don't fear Jesus - if it is Him that you are referring to.

No one should fear God - unless one creates a god that's fearful, that one believes in, in one's own image.

God created humankind in God's image, not the other way round. God also taught that He loves all and each and everyone of us - why should we fear love?

If anyone tells you to fear God - tell him/her what I told you here.

Why would I fear faith? Faith gave us witch trials, inquisitions, crusades, lynchings, and terrorism. Is that enough reason to fear?

Now if you mean fearing the "God" itself, I've got no reason to fear that.
