I went to the dermatologist and he said it's not lice. He says just dry skin. But I havn't found anything to make it stop itching as of yet.

Could be several reasons: hair spray; sweaty head which only a shampoo will help; allergy to shampoo...for example.
However, I suffered from severe attacks of itching on the back of my head and especially at hairline at the back of the neck. After many years of no relief from doctors' suggestions, my spinal surgeon did corrective cervical discecttomy with cadavar bone wedges and a titanium plate for collapsing vertebrae. For three weeks the itching was AWFUL!!!!...then relief! No more itching! I had a spinal problem which needed surgical intervention!

It could be head lice,use nix or rid for that.Or it could be dry scalp,which will cause your scalp to itch like crazy and sometimes your scalp will flake but not all the time.Get a good conditioner for that.Other than that,have a great day!

Yeah i get that all the time! I think it's chlorine coz it happens after my head gets wet from a shower or swimming.

dandruff ( which is dry skin of the scalp) or head lice...other than an allergy to shampoos...gels..hairspray...moose...wax

add more essential fats to your diet, use a treatment shampoo short term theres loads on the market.
